The Art of Puck Possession:  In hockey, the team that
demonstrates the greatest control and movement of the puck, typically is

control of the puck, would be after a scoring chance. As a player and a
fan, I know the difficulty in maintaining puck possession even for brief

There are still a few spots open in our Masters of Hockey camp starting
this coming Monday (June 26-29). This program will systematically break
down the skills and responsibilities of each position (forward and
defense). Player instruction will stress both technical and tactical skills
using a step-by-step progression through creative, demanding drills that
focus on the finer points of playing offense and defense, leading up to
specific game situations. The camp will feature 8 hours of on-ice
instruction, 4 hours of off-ice instruction and 4 hours of classroom
instruction. Two age divisions will be offered: 92-94 and 95-97.

If you are looking for an intense training environment to get ready for the
fall season, look no further. Team Galaxie returns in the form of a
summer training program with three session per week at the Hoffman
Estates Ice Rink from July 24 through August 11. Monday and Thursday
night sessions focus on functional skill development and team tactics;
while Saturday morning sessions feature tournament style games. Click
